Garnacho Snubs Saudi Millions, Rashford Eyes Barcelona – Transfer Mayhem at United

Alejandro Garnacho has reportedly turned down a lucrative move to Al-Nassr, refusing the chance to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Despite a huge wage offer from the Saudi club, the Manchester United winger is adamant about continuing his career in Europe. It’s a bold move from the 20-year-old, who clearly wants to compete at the highest level, not just cash in.

Marcus Rashford is also open to a move, with Barcelona keeping tabs on the England international. It’s looking more and more like a serious shake-up is underway at Old Trafford.

Jadon Sancho, on the other hand, is finally on his way out. Juventus are close to sealing a deal worth just £17.3m a staggering drop from the £73m United paid four years ago. That one hurts.

Things are going from bad to worse for United, as Andre Onana has picked up a hamstring injury in training. He’ll miss the club’s US tour and the start of the season.

With Altay Bayindir looking for an exit and Tom Heaton not the long-term solution, United may be forced back into the market for a goalkeeper. All this while working within a tight transfer budget.

Aston Villa aren’t standing still either. With doubts over Emiliano Martinez’s future, they’re close to snapping up Marco Bizot from Brest.

Emiliano Martinez

The 34-year-old Dutchman arrived in England on Sunday and could even take over the No. 1 shirt soon. A free transfer that could turn out to be a masterstroke.

Al-Hilal’s stunning victory over Manchester City has shown that Saudi clubs are capable of pulling off shocks, but Garnacho’s rejection suggests not every player is ready to jump ship just yet.

Real Madrid have already pulled off a coup by signing Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool, and now they’re eyeing Ibrahima Konate. The French centre-back has one year left on his Anfield deal, and Madrid are preparing a cheeky bid. Konate is open to it.

Liverpool could lose Luis Díaz too, with Bayern Munich and Barcelona both circling. If he leaves, Liverpool may turn to Rodrygo who isn’t exactly thriving under new Real boss Xabi Alonso.

Arsenal had their eyes on the Brazilian too, but with Noni Madueke reportedly joining from Chelsea, that ship may have sailed.

And if Bayern can’t land Díaz? Leandro Trossard is the backup plan. Arsenal might not be done with exits just yet.

Evan Ferguson is heading out on loan again this time to Roma after a forgettable spell at West Ham. Roma are also pursuing Lens midfielder Neil El Aynaoui, who’s also on Everton’s radar.

Nottingham Forest are pushing for PSV’s Johan Bakayoko, but he wants Champions League football. Still, Forest could find themselves in the Europa League by the end of the week, which might just keep the dream alive.

This transfer window is delivering chaos at every level and it’s only just heating up.
