The transfer window is on fire, and Arsenal are right at the heart of it. Talks have opened with Chelsea for a blockbuster move for Noni Madueke, and personal terms are already in place.
The 23-year-old winger blessed with pace, power, and the ability to play on either flank has become a top target for Mikel Arteta’s side as they look to sharpen their attacking edge ahead of next season.
Chelsea, who lifted the Conference League in May and reached the Club World Cup final, are open to selling Madueke amid their attacking overhaul.
With Pedro Neto, Estevao Willian, and Joao Pedro all lined up, and Geovany Quenda due in 2026, Madueke finds himself falling down the pecking order. Arsenal are keen to take advantage of that, though Chelsea are using Anthony Elanga’s £55m switch to Newcastle as a pricing reference.

Madueke’s arrival wouldn’t end Arsenal’s chase for Eberechi Eze, and with squad evolution in full swing, there’s movement behind the scenes too Carlos Cuesta, Arteta’s right-hand man, is set to leave for Parma to take on his first senior management role, further underlining the club’s transition phase.
Meanwhile, Everton have landed a serious coup with the £27m signing of Thierno Barry from Villarreal. The 6ft 5in French striker who bagged 11 La Liga goals last season and impressed at the U21 Euros becomes David Moyes’ second signing after Carlos Alcaraz.
Barry has already drawn comparisons to Everton legends like Wayne Rooney and Romelu Lukaku and looks set to be a fearsome figure up front for the Toffees.

In the Championship, Sunderland continue their ambitious rebuild, splashing £19.5m on Belgian winger Chemsdine Talbi from Club Brugge. The 20-year-old is now their fourth summer signing and is expected to bring serious spark to their wide play.
Elsewhere in the Premier League, Manchester United’s striker hunt is heating up, with the club now setting their sights on Ollie Watkins to boost their firepower. If that move happens, it could reshape the top-four battle entirely.
This summer’s transfer window is absolute chaos and we are loving every moment of it.
