Bruno Fernandes has said he felt hurt after getting the impression that some Manchester United directors were open to selling him.
Speaking to Canal 11 in Portugal, the United captain explained that he has had chances to leave in recent transfer windows, including an offer linked to Saudi club Al-Hilal.
Fernandes said leaving could have meant more money and possibly more trophies, but he chose to stay because he likes the club, his family situation, and talks with the coach.

However, he claimed the club’s attitude made him feel like his exit “wouldn’t be that bad” for them, which he said made him sad. He also criticised some teammates, saying it’s upsetting to see players who “don’t value the club” as much as he does.
Fernandes did not name any directors, but mentioned he told the board how he felt. He added that a move to Saudi Arabia is possible in the future, but insisted money has never been his main motivation.
Manchester United’s position, according to the report, is that they do not want to sell Fernandes and still see him as a key part of the team’s long-term plans.
