Mathys Tel is open to leaving Tottenham Hotspur on loan after growing frustrated with limited playing time under head coach Thomas Frank. The 20-year-old forward joined Spurs permanently from Bayern Munich in a £30m deal but has struggled to secure a regular place in the starting XI.
French side Paris FC, along with Turkish giants Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, are interested in taking Tel on loan until the end of the season. Clubs from Italy and Spain have also made enquiries.
Tel is keen on regular minutes to improve his chances of being selected by France manager Didier Deschamps for the upcoming World Cup.
Recently named captain of France’s Under-21 team, Tel has scored two goals in five Premier League starts this season.
Despite the interest, Tottenham are reluctant to let him leave, especially after selling Brennan Johnson to Crystal Palace and with injuries affecting their attack.
Tel is not seeking a permanent exit and remains committed to earning his place, but a short-term loan could offer the game time he feels he needs right now.
