Jurriën Timber has not played since Arsenal’s win over Everton on 14 March.

Timber Race Gives Arsenal Final Hope

Arsenal fans finally got something positive to hold onto as Mikel Arteta revealed that Jurriën Timber still has a chance of making the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.

After being out since March with a frustrating groin injury, Timber is slowly getting closer to a return. It hasn’t been easy, especially after a setback just when he looked ready to come back, but the Dutch defender is doing everything possible to be fit for the biggest night of Arsenal’s season.

With Ben White officially ruled out for the rest of the campaign, Arsenal’s defense is under pressure. Cristhian Mosquera is expected to step in for now, while Riccardo Calafiori could also help at right-back if needed.

But every Arsenal fan knows Timber brings something different calmness, aggression, leadership, and fight. He’s been one of the team’s most reliable players this season, and having him back against PSG would be massive, especially with dangerous players like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia waiting in the final.

Arteta sounded hopeful but realistic, saying there is still a chance for Timber to play, even if nobody can say how big that chance is right now. One thing is certain though: Timber wants to be there, and this squad is giving everything for the badge.

Fans are ready too, planning another huge welcome for the team bus before the Burnley game after the incredible atmosphere against Atlético Madrid. The energy around this Arsenal side feels different now united, fearless, and hungry for history.
