Tottenham’s New Hope: Postecoglou Puts Faith in Solanke for Top Four

Tottenham Hotspur’s manager, Ange Postecoglou, is optimistic about the team’s chances of securing a top-four finish this season.

With Dominic Solanke joining the squad for a record fee of £55 million (which could rise to £65 million), the Australian coach believes Spurs have the firepower to improve on last year’s fifth-place finish.

Dominic Solanke

Solanke, who scored 19 goals for Bournemouth last season, is expected to fill the shoes of Harry Kane, who left for Bayern Munich.

Postecoglou highlighted Solanke’s mobility, work ethic, and goal-scoring versatility, making him a perfect fit for Tottenham’s pressing style.

Son Heung-min

Alongside Solanke, the return of a fully fit Richarlison and a stronger lineup will allow Son Heung-min to return to his natural position on the left, boosting Tottenham’s attacking options.

Postecoglou, who has a history of second-season success at his previous clubs, remains confident despite the Premier League’s fierce competition.

He’s focused on improving the team and believes that with Solanke leading the attack, Tottenham has what it takes to make a strong top-four push this season.
